More Dewulf for AgVantage UK

AgVantage UK has taken over the Dewulf distribution and support activities formerly provided in Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire by Beverley-based Yorkshire & Humber Machinery.“We recognise the importance of local support and therefore will continue to operate from a local base in Yorkshire holding a parts stock and operating a local service team,” comments AgVantage managing director Andy Carse. “This will be backed up closely by the larger stock and team at our headquarters in Peterborough. Operating from two locations gives us a much wider coverage across the UK.”The new depot manager for AgVantage for the Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire area is Russell Button. One of the founders of Yorkshire & Humber Machinery, he is looking forward to being part of a larger organisation structure. “It will allow us to maximise our potential in the area,” he says, “and it is very much business as normal for all our customers.”AgVantage was founded in 2020 as a joint venture between Andy Carse and Dewulf, which has been active in the UK for more than 20 years. “Setting up a service hub in Yorkshire, together with Russell Button, is the next logical step,” comments Hendrik Decramer, Dewulf Group CEO.“We are excited to share our plans to invest more into resources, staff and training over the coming three years,” he adds. “This investment will ensure that we are providing the best support possible for our customers and to help us achieve our long-term goals.”Mr Carse adds that the larger AgVantage team will be able to share resources and expertise up and down the country. “Also, each depot will have access to a larger parts stock, meaning more availability and faster reaction times to better serve our customers.”AgVantage will honour all existing agreements customers may have with the Yorkshire & Humber business.For more up-to-date farming news click here and subscribe now to profi for just £3.99 an issue.
